| Ok so this is my last month at my place in Berkeley...i've lived in
this complex for the last five years and I know moving back home is
going to be a pain but it's time to grow up...yeah it sounds kind of
backwards. Usually having an apartment means growing up but I
think moving back home will allow me to save some much needed bucks
which I have foolishly thrown away in this studio dump of mine for the
last 5 years. Hopefully by the end of the year I'll be able to
qualify for some sort of mortgage so my family can finally escape the
ghetto in Vallejo.
Things that I'll miss:
-Hanging out at Thalassa.
-BART, Pho Hoa, Baja Fresh, 4 movie theatres, Cancun Taqueria, Great
Wall, Hua Hin, Peets, Mels, Walgreens, Wamu, Ben Jerry's, Mondo Gelato,
all within a block or two of my place
-Saxophone player across the street
Things that I won't miss:
-The Shattuck homeless
-Annoying street noise like barking dogs, people fighting, sirens blaring, sounds of glass breaking, 2am Beckett's crowd...
-Smell of piss along Shattuck
-Smell of piss near the building entrance
-NASTY ASS TURDS on the sidewalk....who the hell can just stop in the middle of the sidewalk and take a #2
-Never being able to find parking, expensive ass parking lot fees
-Terrible water pressure
-Saxophone player across the street
